Synopsis Of The Breed
The Devon Rex is said to be so ugly that
it's beautiful. There is nothing so wondrous as a helpless gremlin! This
is exactly what a Devon kitten is like!
Large ears, prominent features and a curly
coat are characteristic of a Devon. As is their nature; inquisitive,
people lovers, face huggers, neck warmers.
A Devon's vocal cords are in the
higher range and are often to be heard having an entire conversation
with you. If one takes the time to learn this range of notes, you can have
quite an effective conversation with a Devon Rex!
Unlike the noble image of a plump cat
sitting on the window sill, haughtily ignoring your every call, a Devon
will come bounding to your call! (Unless, of course, it's asleep!)
Devon's sleep the deep sleep of an exhausted child due to their
exuberant playfulness in their wakeful hours.
