Kya Park was founded in 2004, originally as a successful Quarter Horse Stud. Kya Park is  a small stud located just north of Brisbane (telephone area code 07) in what used to be prime dairy country.  The region is one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland.    

Since the death of our successful stallion "Ima Cool Seeker",  Kya  Park  has turned it's attentions

to our own resident Devon Rex's and the cat fancy!

Peta has had a myriad of experience with all kinds of animals including but not limited to                    

dogs, cats, birds, horses,  and so on.

It is only within the last year that she and her daughter  Tayne have

found themselves in a position  to establish a cattery and fulfill a dream

after years of owning cats.

Within this dream is embedded a philosophy of 'do it well or not at all'. This being our prime concern we aim for the total welfare of all animals under our care, and will conduct our cattery with no less pride and very careful planning.
